Mental Health
The school employs a Mental Health Wellbeing Leader (MHWL) and a Mental Health Practitioner (MHP) to support the mental health and wellbeing needs of our students. Our MHP is able to offer 1:1 regular support to students as well as small group approaches (both with parent consent).
Our MHWL also supports whole-school approaches in wellbeing through our School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support framework, Berry Street Education Model approaches to trauma-informed practice, and specific behavioural supports through the development of sensory regulation plans, and behaviour support plans. Our MHWL is also our Student Representative Council (SRC) leader and works with our student leaders to embed student voice into our decision-making and activities.
